We hope you are enjoying our latest release! What a treat it is to work with Texas talent, our lovely dancers are all home-grown. We have a few more releases planned for the fall, but are hoping to branch out in the great hill country region and employ a few more artists through the end of the year. We need your support to make it happen!

With the release of our latest piece, Joie de Vivre, we are feeling confident and ready to take on a bigger production. Since 2021, we have stayed entirely on the screen. As we explore this medium and hone our creative languages, we seek to employ more dancers and musicians for our end-of-year production UMBRA. Donating to UMBRA can get you some sweet merch and perks as well, so join us for some early access, behind-the-scenes, and more!

We are working to independently produce a screen dance which will be an abstract portrait of the shadows made by the light of a day. This 24-hour cycle will be condensed into a 18ish-minute video production that will use the cross of media to fully extract emotion and provocation in a compelling, dramatic fashion. Think of it like a Dali painting in movement. Libbie takes a particular interest in movement and light manipulation while Kä will be using manipulated cello and digital instruments to take the audience through Libbie's dancers.

This fundraiser will help pay for our music team, our video team, our dancers, editors, and rehearsal space. No frilly expenses are included in this cost, and the creative team takes home no profit. This is not Starbucks money, it's our bare operating costs. Creating art is unfortunately very costly, and while we are seeking creative grants, we are hoping the enthusiasm and generosity of those who support our artistic goals will make this come to fruition. Part of our gift is being able to assemble, organize, and create work for ourselves and others, being a part of that not only makes you a fine patron and friend to the arts, but it helps us personally to fulfill our mission as artists and help lift up and employ our peers.
