Community learns to connect through local art showcase

By: Skylar Severin

Kerrville’s art venues have reopened to host Big Seed’s fine arts display that featured a contemporary ballet performance by local dancers and musicians. This opportunity was a huge step forward for these artists, an impassioned experience for the creative leaders involved and an unforgettable inspiration for each and every audience member who attended, myself included.

The ballet, titled “Tides,” was a mesmerizing showcase of psychedelic textures, embodying the energy and beauty that we observe in water, fine arts and life itself. In distinct phases of movement and music, these performers captured the beauty in the unpredictability of life, which we all need a reminder of after the series of unpredictable events with which everyone was presented this past year.
